Coach Mike Magera! He really worked with these kids and they did great.

Griff was so proud of his 1st ever trophy. Way to go Griff!

Griffin - Preschool Graduation - June 2010

Griff performing his solo during the presentation of songs. SO CUTE!!!

Griff and his family flag.

Ms. Jen is the best! "Oh boy, I've got joy, I do, do you?"

Griff with his cute teacher and his cute graduation hat!

Griffin went to Ms. Jen's Joy School for preschool. Jen is my sweet friend Julie Morrison's sister. Since I work, Julie was kind enough to help me get Griff to and from school. I helped when I could. She is the sweetest. Can't thank her enough for all she did.

Mason - 6th Grade Graduation - June 2010

Ms. Tucker and Mason giving one last hug! Ms. Tucker was an awesome teacher.

Mason had an incredible 6th Grade year. He was one 3 out of 65 students that were selected for the "Outstanding 6th grader award". He did not win. But we were proud of him anyway. Just to be a nominee was awesome!

Another fun memory...Kind of funny to mention right after the nominee for Outstanding 6th grader...Mason was suspended from school for 2 days. When school was 2 weeks from being out, I get a call from the principal Tom McDowell. Mason had bought a pea shooter pen from a couple of kids at school for $0.50. Mr. McDowell referred to it as a "weapon". The whole thing was a little ridiculous. Mason was scared he would be grounded forever. I think he was surprised when I told him "don't do it again and go play, you have a couple days off".

Above is a picture of Mason placing his tile on the cafeteria wall. Keegan has one up there too. It's cool because this tradition started when the school opened.

So proud of you Mason. You are an awesome kid. Good luck in Middle School. I love you!

Griffin Perfoms with the Parker Show Choir - May 2010

This was a great experience for Griffin. He loved it! Melanie Hansen and Jyl Clark were his teachers. They go to our church and are awesome ladies.

Griffin singing his little heart out.

"We are the Pirates who don't do anything" Song from Veggie Tales.

"Mom hurry, I am about to go on stage"

Keegan

On the last day of Seminary I sprayed Keegan with Silly string. Although he called me "inmature", He left the house smiling because his mommy loves him :) I got Mason on his last day of school, but it was outside with all the kids from the bus. They all got a kick out of it. I think we have a new tradition to look forward too!

Brad came by for a quick visit in June and here is Brad and Keegan. SMILE KEEGAN!

Keegan going up for his awesome spike! The name of this team is Storm and Brother Houser is Keegan's coach. They won 1st place and got a little trophy. They are awesome.

Keegan getting ready to serve.

These guys were hanging out one night and I had to get some pictures. These guys are Keegan's Best Friends and such a great group of kids to be around.

Griff's New Bike!

The Old Bike
The new bike!
Griff is so proud of his new bike. Below is the chart we made so he could "earn" a new bike. Notice the picture at the bottom of the chart. I drew a picture of a bike and helmet. Griff added a picture of himself on the bike. It took about a month to complete. If he would have cooperated he could have earned it in just 1 week.

Steph's Birthday-37-oh my!

That is one huge cake! Thank you my sweet Greg for making my Birthday awesome!

Thank you my Mason who bought me the best card EVER!!! It played the song "My Wish" from Rascal Flatts. One of my most favorite songs that I have dedicated to my kids years ago. That card was special Mason!

Easter 2010

Grouse Ct. 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt!
Every year since we have lived here we have organized a Egg Hunt for the kids who live on our Cul-de-Sac. We bring tons and tons of eggs, all the neighbors bring eggs and we have a huge egg hunt! We always have the kids come into our home and hide their eyes and the adults hide the eggs outside! This is a picture of all the kids at the end of our cul-de-sac! From left to right: Mason Justice, Kirstie June, Kendra June, Avery Burton, Peyton Leak, Caleb Sanders, Samuel MacCallaster, Mason Leak, Aaron Sanders, Griffin Justice, Jake Burton.

We played freeze dance and Hot Egg while we waited.

Griffin ran around like a crazy man finding tons and tons of eggs.

This might be Mason's last year. No pressure Mason, if you want to hunt them next year you may :)

Sweet Peyton! I love this girl. She has it rough around here with all these boys.

Easter morning traditional egg baskets. Every year since 2000 we've had a fun tradition to hide the boys baskets. They wake up Easter morning and go from one clue to the next to find the baskets of treats.
For the record, Greg makes these up. He is really good at it. Here is this years clues:

1. Good morning grumpy-heads, how did you sleep? Well, it's that time of year again so let's find your treats!!! This is your first clue, in case you couldn't tell...you'll find your next one where Joe's dinner dwells.
(kids run down to basement where the lizard's crickets are kept)

2. Well now aren't those critters neat. Look for your next clue where Dad keeps his treats.
(kids run to basket on top of fridge)

3.How far this will go, nobody knows...Look for your next clue where Mom washes clothes.
(kids run to basement to washer)

4. Well, well, well, now don't look so sour...You'll find your Easter baskets where Mom and Dad shower...
(kids run to our shower and find the treats)

They will never get to old for this tradition! It's fun!

AV's GAME!!!

I love these boys!
Face Off! Funny story...Griff and Mason were having a conversation and Mason asked Griff if he was going to "take a face-off in his hockey game?" Griff grabbed his face and said "But, I want my face-on!" Clearly, Griff has some things to learn about the game still!

We had a fun family night and went to the Av's Game. Griff wanted so bad to see a hockey fight and there was not ONE fight. It was SO sad! We had a fun time, even though they lost.
