Keegan Baptizes a Convert to the Church- October 23, 2011

Tristen Gares with his family.

Keegan and Tristen. What an awesome day!

Elder Clark and Elder Clegg are two amazing missionaries. They found two 17 year old kids who were looking for something and they found the gospel. Keegan was able to go with the missionaries to teach the discussions to Tristen Gares and Eric Gibbs. They both decided to get baptized and Tristen asked Keegan to perform the baptism. Such a huge honor! Keegan was so excited and nervous to do it. He did a great job and we are so happy for these two amazing young men to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Maddie - 9 1/2 months

Madelyn - at 9 1/2 months is standing alone. She has taken 2 steps by herself. She eats everything that I put on her tray except broccoli. We think she can say "Hi" and also wave her hands for bye-bye. She shakes her head no and yes. She also says "Momma". This picture of her with her little hands up is just before she flings herself forward in excitement.

October 13, 2011 - Keegan gets his drivers license

I am going to cry. My baby boy Keegan is a driver. He is so excited! Of course he had to go for his 1st joy ride. He was so excited to have a lanyard for his keys. I guess "everyone" who drives has a CHS lanyard hanging out of their pockets. Now that he is driving I will ask all family and friends to keep us in your prayers.
Please pray that Keegan will be safe!!! :)

This car was the 1st car Greg and I bought brand new 11 years ago. I remember driving it home the day we bought it, telling Greg how Honda's are such great cars, we could keep it until Keegan is driving. Perfect kid car. Never thought the time would pass so quickly and I would stand there in my front yard watching him drive off. Crazy!
