Madelyn - 11 months old

Madelyn at 11 months old loves the camera. She has a open mouthed smile or a cheeser smile she does when she sees the camera. She is full of personality and is so smart. She is walking all over the place and can back herself down the stairs. She signs "all done","more" and "night night". She still loves to put everything over her head or around her neck. She is so cute and so fun. She loves all of her brothers so much. I love how they each have a special little thing they do with her that she loves.

Thanksgiving 2011 - Albuquerque Turkey

i pad, u pad, me pad! Kids of 2011!

What a fun Thanksgiving we had at Brad and Lisa's house! Lisa's parents and her sister Erin joined us for the great feast! We ate tons of good food, played lots of games and watched movies and had a blast visiting. The i-pad taught the kids how to play piano (who needs to pay for stinkin lessons anyway!) We feel in love with Ruby, the white little dog in the photos. We begged Brad and Lisa to let us take her home with us. They would not let us have her, dang it!

All the fun came to a hault when Friday night Brad got the stomach bug, then Eden in the morning and then Lisa Saturday night. So sorry guys! It ran through our family a week prior. Thank goodness we were all able to have a great Thanksgiving. So glad the bug waited to show itself until the end of the trip :) Always a bright side, right?

So grateful for family! It is the best blessing in this life.

Mom's Projects

At the beginning of November I had some fun doing some crafts. I took pictures so I could remember how much I love doing crafts. I was so excited when I saw this tip on-line about putting a tack under wood pieces you paint that I had to find something to paint quickly. No more sticking to the newspaper around here. So Smart!! I love my new "Family Rules" Board.

With a little on-line research (I love the web, how did we ever manage without it?) I found the most awesome caramel for beautiful caramel dipped apples. OH MY GOODNESS! They were so good. They turned out so pretty. I dipped a bunch and invited some friends over to make some and take home. We dipped them in white chocolate and then sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and then drizzled white chocolate. It was a fun night and I think everyone left happy. I am making these for my neighbors and friends for Christmas.
