I saw this idea on the internet somewhere and it was a hit. The kids thought it was so fun. With Teenagers who Ding Dong Ditch for a living right now...This was a nice way to do the annoying act of Ding Dong Ditching. If you don't remember what that means, you ring someones doorbell and run. We had enough Ding Dongs for the whole family to pick someone they wanted to do. Griffin was way into it! He picked his friend Mason Leak (we call him little Mason) who lives across the street. His family thought it was so fun that they did the same thing and they got us back. Then for weeks after Little Mason and Griffin would ding-dong ditch each other.
Keegan got arrested for Ding-Dong ditching. 5 police cars showed up to arrest 3 kids for ding-dong ditching. I guess we live in a pretty safe area if this is the response. After hearing the story from the cops and the kids, it sound like they only rang this one guys bell once that night. They found a guy who got really up-set and ran after them the night before for ringing his bell once. CRAZY!! Keegan told me he was going back to ding-dong ditch this guy again. I was thinking...if this is how you 15 year old kids are getting your kicks...go for it! Of course I asked him to not ring after 9:30 and to only ring once. Well, he found a house that was a little nuts and called the cops on them. Cuffed and everything! Keegan was freaked out! His punishment was to write an essay on "What type of person you want to be" He wrote a great essay about his dreams and goals and what type of person he wants to be!
Charges were dropped after reviewing the case.
Thank goodness the DA has some sense about her.
