The highlight of the trip was why we were
there in the first place...to perform at Carnegie Hall. I don't think I
could put to words how awesome that experience really was but I will
try...
First, The conductor
was just amazing. He was able to pull all these kids from all of the US
together and create the most awesome choir I have ever seen or heard.
Second,
thank goodness our choir was last because they definitely stole the
entire show! The crowd was going crazy. It was exciting! They sounded
so great and the song choices were so up beat and fun while (sadly) the
others were choir boring songs. I say sadly because some of the other
choirs were very upset that ours was so much better!
Third,
as a mommy of one of those kids on that stage, I was so happy to have
been there and a part of that moment. Keegan was center stage and I was
front and center in the Mezzanine and to be able to look at his face and
see how proud he was at that moment...No words can describe it!
