Keegan and Mom got on a red-eye flight with 85 other people from Chaparral High School in March 2012 and headed to New York City! We had such an amazing time. Keegan with all his friends in such a fun place and I was able to room with a few of my friends! We would see the kids every once in a while. Especially when they ran out of money :)
We saw Ground Zero, Empire State Building, China town, Hard Rock Cafe, Time Square (and all the fun shopping and big stores), Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, Central Park, Rockefellar Center, Statue of Liberty and had the fun experience to ride the subway several times. We ate some fabulous food and had the biggest sandwich I have ever had. It was ridiculous really. So huge you had to take it apart and eat the parts separate. What is the point exactly??? Oh and you can't share it either. They don't allow it. Crazy New Yokers!
The kids sang at the airport, Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero.
